Producing an innovative piece of furniture using beautiful oak wood. Designing the adjustable handle height system helped develop my ability to think through complex design ideas and product assemblies. I also learned the importance of being ambitious and creative in my product ideas. The main challenge was choosing the jointing for the tapered octagon sides that would be strong but subtle, as well as reducing the weight.
